WCI offers college scholarships to students across a 29-county region. Awards are offered to public high school seniors. Applications are available from the guidance offices of participating schools approximately two months before the deadlines or from Maria Juarez of the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.

Harry W. Clarke Memorial Scholarship
(Deadline: February 10)

One $1,500 four-year renewable award to students attending four-year institutions

To qualify for this scholarship, you must be:

• a graduating senior of a high school in one of the 29 western counties of North Carolina

One $750 two-year renewable award to students attending two-year community colleges
