Who should participate: employees needing to become proficient in word processing

Schedule: three 1-day sessions, offered separately

Objective of each session:

  • Learn to create, edit, and enhance basic business documents
  • Learn to create complex business documents and build personalized efficiency tools
  • Learn to create and manage lengthy documents, collaborate with other users, and secure documents

 

Microsoft Excel 2010

Who should participate: employees needing to become proficient in Excel spreadsheet use

Schedule: three 1-day sessions, offered separately

Objective of each session:

  • Learn to create and edit basic worksheets and workbooks
  • Learn to use advanced formulas and tools to organize and analyze spreadsheet data and to apply visual effects and graphics
  • Learn to automate common tasks, apply advanced analytical techniques, troubleshoot errors, collaborate with others, and share Excel data with other applications

 

Microsoft Access 2010

Who should participate: employees needing to become proficient in Access database use

Schedule: three 1-day sessions, offered separately

Objective of each session:

  • Learn to create and modify new, basic databases and their various objects
  • Learn to improve and customize tables, queries, forms and reports, and share Access data with other applications
  • Learn to create complex databases by structuring existing data, writing advanced queries, working with macros, and performing database maintenance

 

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010

Who should participate: any employee needing to become proficient in presentation software

Schedule: two 1-day sessions, offered separately

Objective of each session:

  • Learn to explore the PowerPoint environment and create a presentation, by formatting text on slides to enhance clarity, and adding graphics, tables, and charts
  • Learn to use advanced features that will transform your presentation into a powerful communications tool, customize your interface, and secure your presentations
