HR Quick Surveys

HR Quick Surveys are available only to members and are a great way to find out what other employers are doing in specific areas.

  • To view past survey results, go to the HR Quick Survey web page (login required)
  • Participants are notified by email when a survey is open, complete the survey online, and are notified when the results have been compiled.
  • To participate in our Quick Surveys, sign up here (login required).

Employment Surveys

The Southeast Compensation Survey is updated annually by participating employers throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. Participating members receive the final report at no charge. Participating non-members receive those portions of the survey report to which they contributed data at no charge.

  • Wage and salary data is compiled for hundreds of hourly and salaried positions.
  • Includes demographics, pay structure, pay practices, and current year and projected base pay increases.
  • Provides valuable data for determining how an organization's pay relates to others in a given area.

The Southeast Policies & Benefits Survey is updated biannually by participating employers throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.

  • Having a competitive benefits package is essential for effective recruiting and for retaining talent.
  • Includes data on topics like PTO practices, 401k vesting and matching contributions, premium pay (shift differentials) and employee recognition activities.
  • In addition, current topics like flexible schedules, parental leave, corporate/social responsibility, and wellness initiatives are covered.

Recovery Friendly Workplaces

Recovery-friendly workplaces are those that actively promote a culture of understanding and compassion toward employees and their families who may be in recovery or dealing with substance use disorders (SUD).

  • WCI provides hands-on assistance to employers who want to develop a recovery-friendly workplace.
  • This program is supported by a federal grant, without cost to the employer (RFW web page).
