Employer's Membership Package

Getting the support every employer needs starts with WCI membership. Your investment is scaled to employee count, and we continually add more value to this package that includes all the member benefits on this web page.

  • Packages start at $963.50 for up to 55 employees at one membership site, up to a maximum of $6,380 for 400 or more employees at one site
  • Between 55 and 400, packages cost $15.70 per employee per year, plus $100 per covered site (no charge for more than 5 sites)
  • WCI also supports lobbying for employer issues in Raleigh, which is offset by a voluntary advocacy contribution of $1.05 per employee per year, up to $420.

HR Management & Compliance Training

Members are offered free training programs to support your efforts in providing a well-managed, lawful workplace.

  • four (4) annual seminars on current employer topics, presented in-person at four regional locations
  • three (3) summer webinars on hot employment topics, presented online by legal experts
  • access to our online, on-demand library of training videos
  • seminars and webinars are posted (when open for registration) on our HR web page

Free Training for Managers

Each member company may schedule one, annual, onsite, training program for their management team.

  • Topics available are Harassment Prevention for Managers, Inclusive Workplace Culture, Emotional Intelligence, Interviewing Skills, Change Your World through Leadership, Communication Skills, Conflict Resolution, Do Not Discriminate or Retaliate, or Opioids in the Workplace.
  • Harassment Prevention for Employees is also a member benefit with unlimited access to our online video (in English and Spanish)
  • While one (1) 1-hour session is no-charge, additional sessions can be added at member rates

Employer Resources

The Employer's Membership Package also includes unlimited anytime access to our supportive online resources.

  • Employment Law Guides for North and South Carolina, available online as searchable, electronic desk manuals
  • News articles curated by WCI for employers, posted on our home page newsfeed and in periodic eBrief collections by email
  • Labor posters via online links and/or color-printed poster sets for required workplace display
  • HR Answers Now - access to our online toolbox full of compliance documents, sample policies and forms, and best-practice articles
  • HR Quick Surveys - members may request, participate in, and read the results from frequent surveys on what other employers are doing

Other Supportive Services

Membership also includes a variety of other opportunities to support your viable workplace.

  • Peer Roundtables - regional opportunities to network with other HR professionals, share ideas, and discuss mutual concerns
  • HR Audits are complimentary, basic reviews of your employee handbook, I-9 files, or general HR system
  • Recertification credits for SHRM and HRCI professionals, available by participating in many of our seminars and conferences
  • PDP measures employee behavioral traits, and members can get up to three (3) free PDP ProScans for evaluation purposes

Vouchers

All of the fee-based WCI services not included in membership are offered to members at our lowest prices. New for 2025, we are offering tiered vouchers that can be applied to any fee-based service except membership.

  • Voucher tiers are based on the member's employee count: $100 for 1-99, $200 for 100-199, $300 for 200-299, $400 for 300-399, or $500 for 400+ employees
  • Vouchers may be used for Supervisory Development, EXA Surveys, PDP Services, HR Training & Consulting, Safety Training & Consulting, Industrial Hygiene, WCI Search, purchased Employment Surveys, and more
